Dutch Trains To Get Bag Toilets
Saturday 8th October, 2011 22:39
Dutch National Railways is introducing emergency plastic bags for passengers to urinate in as part of its first-aid provision on some commuter trains. Spokesman Jeroen von Geusau told the BBC that the bags would be installed on commuter trains without toilets, for use in emergencies such as power failures.

Rail passengers interviewed by Dutch TV were dismayed by the idea. One unnamed female passenger said:

"No, no way, I just can't see myself 'going' in that. For a man it may be easier, for a woman that's just impossible."

Oh right, so you'd prefer to piss all over yourself and the floor of the train than try to wee into a bag? The whole point is you use these in an emergency, when you absolutely have to go, when you can't stop yourself.

I hope I don't end up on a badly delayed Sprinter train with her.
