Arsenal to play Aston Villa in the FA Cup final. It'll be good to win it two years in a row. Fingers crossed!

Shiny new Premier Inn room prominently exposes TV inputs. More importantly, power socket next to bed! http://t.co/55arzkTd4P

Nice to watch Arsenal (fairly) comfortably beat Liverpool. #HappyEasterWeekend
Installing Kali On Windows Server 2012
Wednesday 1st April, 2015 15:26
In advance of installing Kali on a Hyper-V Server 2012 R2 setup, I checked online to see if there were any known issues. I've had Kali running fine on a Windows Server 2008 R2 host in the past, but it seems people have had trouble installing the x64 versions in particular on Windows Server 2012 (not always clear if they have trouble with 2012 R2). After having hit the same failure message at "Install the system" using the full ISO on a Windows Server 2012 host running Hyper-V, I spotted a comment that suggested the mini ISO works fine, and a suggestion that a particular package may be at fault. I decided to try the Kali Linux 64 bit mini ISO (kali-linux-1.1.0a-amd64-mini.iso) and it appeared to sail through without any issues (even using the standard network adapter; not the legacy one). Once it had booted into the usual graphical interface I had mouse integration working fine over the Remote Desktop connection to the Hyper-V host. This has given me a lot more confidence that it'll work fine on Hyper-V Server 2012 R2. It should, but that's not always the case when using a version of Linux that Microsoft doesn't officially support on Hyper-V.
